The story behind the story

The story of Adriana and her brother Camilo is inspired by thousands of Venezuelans that crossed the border looking for a better future and are living in Northern Brazil.

UNICEF is leading assistance programs in the state of Roraima and provided Talk2U all the necessary cultural background, including interviews and hundreds of photographs.

The Venezuelan actress Estefany Marin gave life to the main character Adriana and Brazilian actress Maria Nazaré played Marizete, the person who shelters her.

Different locations, such as Marizete’s house, a hospital and a nature trail helped to create a complex atmosphere, showing all the struggles Adriana had to face during her journey.
